According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 08/12/2024 at approximately 11:00 PM, deputies responded to a structure fire of a trailer on Mulholland Rd in the Town of Vienna. Upon their arrival, the fire was fully involved.

After the fire was extinguished by firefighters, deputies and first responders located a deceased male inside the residence. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. The name of the victim will be released when positive identification has been made.

Sheriff’s deputies were assisted on scene by the North Bay, Vienna, Camden, Sylvan Beach, and Cleveland Volunteer Fire Departments as well as State Fire.
