According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on November 22, 2024, at about 4:40 AM, Deputies responded to 6522 Trenton Road in the Town of Deerfield for a reported one car personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Raymond Tantillo III, 19, of Prospect, NY was operating a black 2015 Subaru Legacy southbound on Trenton Road in the Town of Deerfield. Tantillo failed to maintain his lane due to slippery road conditions, causing him to lose control of his vehicle, entering a ditch on the eastern shoulder, where he then struck a culvert, ultimately causing the vehicle to come to rest.

Tantillo was transported to Wynn Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Deerfield Fire Department, Kunkel Ambulance, and Nimey’s Towing.
