According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Town of Augusta man was arrested following a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Augusta.
On December 05th, 2024, Deputies responded to a domestic in progress that occurred on North Road in the Town of Augusta. When Deputies arrived on scene, Deputies determined the male was the only person in the residence and initial attempts to have the male exit were unsuccessful. After an hour of negotiations, the male exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Subsequent to their investigation, Robert Case, age 21, of Augusta was arrested and charged with one count of Menacing 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and one count of Menacing 3rd a class B Misdemeanor. Case was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and was turned over to the County Jail pending arraignment.
