According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; a man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Verona.

On December 20th, 2024, Road Patrol Deputies were called for a reported Domestic in Progress in the Town of Verona. Upon completion of the investigation Robert C. Leonard, 49, was arrested and charged with Menacing in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Leonard was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing.

Leonard was held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
