According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; a man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Boonville.

On January 3, 2025, Road Patrol Deputies were called for a domestic in progress in the Town of Boonville. Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with the victim, who reported that a physical altercation had occurred and she was in need of medical attention due to being in substantial pain.

The investigation was turned over to the Domestic Violence Unit for further investigation. Upon completion of the investigation, Mark A. Reece, 70, was arrested and charged with Assault 3rd, Class A Misdemeanor, due to the victim's level of injury.

Reece was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing.

Reece was held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
