The Oneida County Sheriff's Office Recreation Unit has been out patrolling the snowmobile trails of Oneida County ensuring everyone has a safe and fun time. With the recent snowfall, all clubs have opened up their trails in Oneida County. Visit the New York State Snowmobile Association interactive trail map for the latest trail updates and closures.

Please respect the landowners and stay on the trail. Ride right, and in between the stakes.

We would like to remind the snowmobiling community that it is illegal to ride on any active railroad tracks and the their right of way. It is a Class B Misdemeanor to walk, cross country ski, drive a motor vehicle, or operate a snowmobile on railroad property.
