According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, an Oneida County Probation Officer was arrested for Official Misconduct. On January 2, 2025, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Oneida County Probation Department regarding an Official Misconduct investigation. It was reported that a Probation Officer hired an individual currently on probation and under her direct supervision, to complete concrete work at her residence. After the investigation was complete, the case was turned over to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office for review. The case was subsequently presented to a Grand Jury resulting in an indictment warrant for Christina Greiner, age 61, from the City of Rome. On March 14, 2025, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit arrested Ms. Greiner for Official Misconduct, a class A Misdemeanor. Ms. Greiner was processed, arraigned and was released on her own recognizance.
