According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol Road Patrol deputies took a larceny complaint in the beginning of January from the victim. The victim stated there were unauthorized charges on his credit card. Due to the nature of the case it was turned over to an investigator in the Criminal Investigations Unit. Joel Bugbee, 36 of Waterville was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny 4th a class E Felony. Bugbee was processed at the LEB and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Waterville Court at a later date.
