United States Attorney John A.
United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III recently hosted federal, state, and local law enforcement leadership for Oneida County at the federal courthouse in Utica.
U.S. Attorney Sarcone stated, “Keeping our communities safe in Oneida County and the Northern District of New York is my top priority as the United States Attorney.”
“It was a pleasure to meet with our new United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III. My office appreciates U.S. Attorney Sarcone’s pledge to increase the number of special assistants cross-designated to handle federal prosecutions. The Oneida County District Attorney’s Office looks forward to collaborating with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York to deliver justice for the citizens of Oneida County,” said Oneida County District Attorney Todd C. Carville.
Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol stated, “I would like to thank U.S. Attorney Sarcone for meeting with many of Oneida County’s law enforcement executives recently to discuss critical issues that affect the safety of the residents of Oneida County. His visit emphasized our shared commitment to public safety, and I greatly appreciate his promise of support in combating crime and holding offenders accountable. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office looks forward to a continued strong partnership with the United States Attorney's Office to enhance the safety of the people we proudly serve.”
Rome Police Department Chief Kevin James said, “I want to thank U.S. Attorney Sarcone for taking the time to meet with law enforcement officials in Oneida County to discuss the issues affecting our communities. His visit and willingness to help underscored a shared commitment to public safety. U.S. Attorney Sarcone’s assurance that his office will support our efforts to combat crime and hold offenders accountable was encouraging. The Rome Police Department looks forward to a strong and productive collaboration with the United States Attorney’s Office.”
