According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on…
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 7/18/25 around 2:42 PM, a Patrol Deputy assigned to the Waterville Field Office conducted a traffic stop on Broad Street in the Village of Oriskany Falls.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as James Winfield (46) of Waterville, was found to be operating with a revoked driver’s license. During the course of the stop, a quantity of Suboxone and Methamphetamine were located in Winfield’s possession.
Winfield was arrested and charged with the following:
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rdAggravated Unlicensed Operation 2ndCriminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (2 counts)Winfield was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he was processed and issued an appearance ticket for the charges. He was also issued multiple Uniform Traffic Tickets related to the stop.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Augusta Court at a later date.
