According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit is currently conducting an investigation regarding a bicycle accident.The bicycle accident occurred around 5:20 PM in the Town of Marshall, and it appears the female had lost control due to unknown circumstances, and as a result, crashed her bicycle resulting in her sustaining serious injuries. The female was airlifted by Mercy Flight to SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital.At this time, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance and asks that anyone who might have seen or been in the area at the time of the accident and who may have further information, to contact Sheriff’s Investigator Tyler Barnes at 315-765-2786.The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New York State Police, Cassville FD, and Waterville FD.
