The Sheriff’s Office was proud to stand with all of our Domestic Violence High Risk Assessment Team members this morning at the YWCA Mohawk Valley as it was announced that Oneida County has been awarded significant state funding as part of the STRIVE (Statewide Targeted Reductions in Intimate Partner Violence) Program. Oneida County was one of only 20 counties chosen to be part of this coordinated community response that brings together law enforcement, prosecutors, probation officers, service providers, and community members to insure everything is being done to protect the survivors while holding the offenders accountable.
