According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M.
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on November 25th, 2025, at approximately 10:26pm, Road Patrol Deputies responded to Elmer Hill Rd in the Town of Lee for a reported personal injury accident involving one vehicle.
Subsequent to an investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Alexander J. Sisti (29) of Rome, was operating a 2016 Toyota Camry in western direction on Elmer Hill Rd, when he lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the vehicle leaving the roadway, damaging property, striking a tree, and coming to rest in the lawn of a nearby residence.
The passenger in the vehicle was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for minor injuries by AmCare Ambulance. It was additionally determined that the passenger was a protected party in an active Stay Away Order of Protection between the two occupants of the vehicle.
Sisti was taken into custody and brought to Rome Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, and upon discharge, was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where he was booked and processed for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. He was then turned over to Oneida County Jail to be held pending centralized arraignment.
Sisti was additionally issued multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law citations, returnable to Lee Town Court at a later date and time.
Deputies were assisted on scene by New York State Police, AmCare Ambulance, Lake Delta Fire Department, and North Country Towing.
