According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M.
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on November 26, 2025, a state of New Mexico woman was arrested following a vehicle and traffic stop. On November 26th, 2025, at approximately 11:19 PM, Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Cadillac Deville while on Seneca Turnpike, in the Town of New Hartford. During the traffic stop, Deputies believed that the operator, Stephanie J. Williamson, age 40, appeared under the influence. After Deputies further investigated, Williamson was taken into custody for DWI. While searching Williamson, she was found to be in possession of cocaine.
Subsequent to Williamson’s arrest, her vehicle was searched and a loaded unregistered hand gun was also located. Williamson was transported to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Building for processing.
Williamson was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree (class C felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (class A misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated (a misdemeanor) along with numerous vehicle and traffic law citations. After processing, Williamson was held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.
During this investigation, the Road Patrol Division was assisted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit.
