According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Clinton woman was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Village of Clinton. On December 29, 2025, Patrol Deputies assigned to the Waterville Field Office responded to a report of a Domestic at a residence in the Village of Clinton. Upon completion of the investigation, it was determined that Nicole Beratta, had engaged in a verbal argument with the victim and had ensued in a physical altercation with the victim while there had been children present. During the course of the investigation, Beretta was found to be operating a motor vehicle back to the residence. Deputies concluded there were indicators of alcohol impairment on scene. Beratta was arrested and ultimately charged with the following, Driving while intoxicated, unclassified misdemeanor Harassment 2nd, a violation Endangering the welfare of a child, a class a misdemeanor ( 3 counts) Beratta was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and was transported to the Oneida County Jail where she is being held pending arraignment at the Oneida County Central Arraignment Court. Charges are returnable to the Kirkland Town Court.
