The Sheriff’s Office was honored to attend several fire department banquets over the last few days. On Thursday evening the Oneida County Fire Chiefs Association held their annual Installation Banquet at the Irish Cultural Center.

On Saturday, Whitesboro and Oriskany Fire Departments held their annual Installation Banquets at Harts Hill Inn. Also on Saturday, the Verona Fire Department held their Installation Banquet at Vernon Downs. Lastly, the North Bay Fire Department held their annual Installation Banquet at the McConnellsville Golf & Country Club. Deputy Ryan Asch, representing the Sheriff at the North Bay banquet presented an Appreciation Plaque and Honorary Credentials to the family of Past Assistant Chief Ron Turk Sr. for his 57 years of service to the department (he was unable to attend).
