According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on…
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on January 23rd, 2026 at around 6:30 am, Deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Main Street in the Village of Oriskany Falls.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Tessa Callahan of Deansboro was operating a 2006 Pontiac G6 in a southern direction on State Route 12B. Due to slippery road conditions, Callahan failed to maintain her lane and she entered the opposite lane of travel and struck a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma was operated by Benjamin Butler of Oriskany Falls who was traveling in a northern direction on State Route 12B. Callahan was transported by COCVAC to Wynn Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Butler did not sustain any injuries.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by COCVAC Ambulance and Oriskany Falls Fire Department.
