According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol,On 03/13/26 around 4:15 PM, a patrol Deputy assigned to the Waterville Field Office conducted a traffic stop on Broad Street in the Village of Oriskany Falls.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as John Klein of Bridgewater. During the investigation of the stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit with K-9 "Mastro" was dispatched, and ultimately discovered in Klein’s possession was a quantity of Methamphetamine.

Klein was arrested and charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Klein was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he was processed and issued an appearance ticket for the charge. He was also issued multiple Uniform Traffic Tickets related to the stop.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Augusta Court at a later date.
