According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, an Annsville contractor has been arrested for not completing work he was paid to do.

On March 2, 2026, Sheriff’s patrol received a complaint from a homeowner in the Town of Westmoreland who had paid a contractor on July 28, 2025, to do some work at the home. That contractor, named Steven Grosjean, age 59, never returned to do the work but also never repaid the money to the homeowner.

The case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Unit due to the felony level offense it involved.

On March 18, 2026, an Investigator and Patrol Deputy located Grosjean at his home in Annsville and arrested him for one count of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a Class D Felony.

Grosjean was processed and held at the Sheriff’s Correctional Facility to await CAP Court.
