According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Town of Marcy man was arrested following a physical domestic dispute in the Town of Marcy.
On April 20th, 2026, at around 2:20 a.m., Road Patrol Deputies were dispatched to Carey Rd in the Town of Marcy for a report of a domestic in progress. Subsequent to an investigation, Deputies determined that Jonathan Morse (Age 37) had struck an adult victim in the back of the head in the presence of a 16 year old child.
Morse was subsequently charged with the following: -1 Count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor. -1 Count of Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation.
Morse was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and was ultimately held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court. Child Protective Services were contacted on behalf of the child.
