This past week, Oneida County Sheriff's Office members Sergeant Aaron Avard, Sergeant Jenna Pease and Investigator Ed Constantine along with members of the Oneida County Office of Mental Health, the City of Utica Crisis Response Team and multiple local service providers attended a two-day train-the-trainer class "How being trauma-informed improves Criminal Justice System responses" presented by the SAMHSA GAINS Center for Behavioral Health and Justice Transformation.
