According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M.
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, a sixteen-year-old Rome male was charged due to his involvement in a domestic incident that occurred in the City of Rome on 10/7/2026. During the incident, the teen is alleged to have damaged property owned by the victim that is valued at over $250.00. Due to the felony nature and age of the suspect, the case was turned over to the Juvenile Aid Unit. The teen was charged with Criminal Mischief in the third degree, a class E Felony, and arraigned at Oneida County CAP Court where an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. The teen was directed to return to Oneida County Court Youth Part on an upcoming date and was released to a parent.
