According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on…
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on October 10, 2026, around 10:40 PM, Road Patrol Deputies responded to an address on State Route 274 in the Town of Floyd for reports of an ATV accident with injuries.
Upon arrival, Deputies located three female juveniles, all 16 years of age, who had sustained injuries after being thrown from an ATV they were all riding on together. Two of the juveniles were transported via ambulance to Wynn Hospital for evaluation and were released with non-life-threatening injuries. The third juvenile was airlifted via Mercy Flight to SUNY Upstate Hospital with serious injuries. At this time, the investigation is ongoing and additional information may be released at a later time.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Amcare Ambulance, Mercy Flight Central and Holland Patent Fire Department.
