Sheriff’s Office and the Ancient Order of Hibernians – John C. Devereux Division Team Up To Deliver Turkeys & Potatoes Throughout The Region

Following an annual tradition, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office teamed up once again with the Ancient Order of Hibernians – John C. Devereaux Division to deliver 300 turkeys and 5,000 pounds of potatoes to 13 different food pantries and organizations to help those in need this holiday season. The potatoes were grown locally at the Pryputniewicz Farm in Waterville and the turkeys came from various vendors.

Purchasing the turkeys and potatoes was made possible from several very generous donations from:

Trinity Services Group Inc. of Oldsmar, Florida

Sullivan Contracting of Sauquoit, New York

Ancient Order of Hibernians – John C. Devereux Division of Utica, New York

Oneida County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Foundation

A very big thank you goes out to the Utica University Pioneers Football Team for helping to unload the potatoes & turkeys and also to Clinton Tractor for delivering the potatoes from Pryputniewicz’s Farm to the Irish Cultural Center.

Those pantries and organizations receiving the turkeys and potatoes include:
