According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Marcy man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Town of Marcy. On December 7, 2024, A Patrol Deputy assigned to the Barneveld Field Office responded to a report of a domestic in progress at a residence in the Town of Marcy. Upon completion of the investigation, it was determined that Vlad Kozakevich, 24, had ensued in a verbal argument with the victim, and prevented victim from calling 911. Kozakevich was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Mischief 4th, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Kozakevich was transported to Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and was turned over to the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment.
