Yesterday, Deputy Aldoori, and Deputy Prody had the opportunity to assist with the escort of Wreaths Across America - Official Page as they traveled through Oneida County.
Starting at NYS Thruway Exit 31, the convoy traveled to the Walmart Distribution Center, and then the Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School for brief ceremonies. The convoy then continued to NYS Thruway Exit 33 where the wreaths will travel to Pennsylvania with a final destination of the Arlington National Cemetery.
Wreaths Across America carry out the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach about Veterans from the Revolutionary War to present day. This tradition is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at the Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.
