According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M.
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, a Constantia man, was arrested on October 31st, 2024, following an assault investigation.
On October 12th, 2024 at approximately 1:35 AM, Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address in Bernhards Bay NY, regarding an assault complaint. During the initial investigation, Owego County Sheriff's deputies discovered that the assault occurred on Hallenbeck Rd, in the Town of Vienna.
Further investigation was conducted by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit and as a result, Jonathon D. Pastorell (36), was charged with Assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor. On October 30th, 2024 an arrest warrant for Pastorell was issued by the Town of Vienna Court.
On October 31st, 2024 Pastorell was located by members of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation's Unit and Warrants Division, hiding in the detached garage of his residence, after fleeing on foot from Oswego County deputies during an attempt to locate. Pastorell was subsequently taken into custody without further incident. Pastorell was transported to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Building to be processed. Pastorell was turned over to the Oneida County Jail, to await Centralized Arraignment.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by members of the Oswego County Sheriff's Office.
