According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Town of Annsville man was arrested following an order of protection violation in the City of Rome.
On December 21st, 2024 at around 10:08 pm, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot in the City of Rome. While investigating the traffic stop, Deputies determined that Patrick Howard, age 31 of Annsville, was operating a vehicle while the protected party in a stay away order of protection was a passenger inside of the vehicle.
As a result of the order of the protection violation, Howard was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a Class E Felony. Howard was also charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and other traffic offenses.
Howard was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and was turned over to the County Jail pending his arraignment.
