According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; a man…
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; a man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the Village of Boonville.
On January 30, 2025, Road Patrol Deputies were called for a reported domestic complaint in the Village of Boonville. Upon arrival, Deputies determined there was a current stay away order of protection in place protecting the female party.
Upon completion of the investigation, on February 1, 2025, Rick L Spann, 42 of Oneonta was arrested and charged with criminal contempt in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, criminal contempt in the 1st degree, a class E Felony, and Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree a class A misdemeanor.
Spann was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and arraigned at CAP Court on the charges. Following arraignment Spann was remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility where he is being held in lieu of $500 cash bail.
