According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On February 11, 2025, at 3:06 P.M., A Deputy from the Waterville Field Office was dispatched to a one car property damage accident that occurred on State Route 20 in the Town of Sangerfield, which led to the arrest of 42 year old Robert Durham of Lee Center, NY for Aggravated DWI, as well as other traffic offenses.

Deputies determined on scene that Robert was operating while intoxicated by alcohol at the time he lost control of his pickup and slid into an earth embankment. Robert was issued tickets and released with a future court date.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Waterville Fire Dept., Anderson Towing, and NYSP Morrisville for their assistance on scene.
