According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, a Camden man was arrested on February 21st, 2025, for illegally possessing a firearm.

On February 16th, 2025, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division responded to a residence on Hillsboro Road, in the Town of Camden, regarding a complaint involving an emotionally disturbed person. Upon the Deputies arrival, they learned a brief altercation occurred, involving a handgun. Deputies further learned the handgun, a Smith and Wesson .357 magnum, was not registered to the individual in possession of the firearm. Therefore, the handgun was illegally possessed and secured by members of the Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was then turned over to members of the Criminal Investigative Unit. As a result, Paul Glitz (53) was subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E Felony.
