According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Threat Assessment team received information regarding an alleged threat made at the Remsen High School on March 6th, 2025. The Sheriff's Office assisted the school investigation and the threat was deemed to be unfounded. Any school based incident is taken seriously and jointly investigated by the School District and Law Enforcement. The Safety of the schools, students and staff is of upmost importance and the Sheriff's Office remains committed to keeping the community safe.
