According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, who is the director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Level 2 registered sex offender has been arrested for failing to report his change of address to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services(DCJS).
At the end of March 2025, an investigation was commenced by Oneida County Sheriff's Office Investigator Alicia Marconi, who is assigned to the CAC, regarding 27 year old, Nathan Fulton and his obligations as a registered sex offender. The NYS Sex Offender Registration Act, under article 168 of the NYS Corrections Law, requires registered sex offenders to notify DCJS no later than ten calendar days after any change of address. Through investigation, with assistance from NYS Parole, it was learned that Fulton had not been residing at his registered address in the T/Whitestown for several weeks. On April 4, 2025 Inv. Marconi arrested Fulton and charged him with NYS Corrections Law-Failure to Register Change of Address, a Class E Felony. Fulton was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment Court where he was held in lieu of bail.
