At a morning ceremony held at the Deputy Kurt B.
At a morning ceremony held at the Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building in Oriskany, seven new Deputy Sheriffs were administered the Oath of Office as they begin their careers with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Law Enforcement Division. Five of the seven will be beginning the full time, 6 month long, Mohawk Valley Police Academy held on the Utica Campus of Mohawk Valley Community College starting on Monday, May 22nd. The remaining two new Deputies have already completed the Phase I training and will be completing their Phase II training in the very near future.
