According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M.
According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, a Rome man was arrested following a physical domestic dispute in the City of Rome. On June 17th, 2025, Deputies assigned to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol Division responded to a residence in the outer district of Rome for a reported domestic incident that had occurred the day prior. Upon arrival and subsequent to an investigation, it was determined that Cameron Shepard (34) of Rome had engaged in a physical altercation with his partner in the presence of a child. After locating Shepard on June 18th, 2025, he was taken into custody and transported to the Oneida County Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where he was booked and processed on the following charges:(1) count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child - Class (A) Misdemeanor(1) count of Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation - Class (A) Misdemeanor(1) counts of Harassment in the Second Degree - a Violation
After being processed, Shepard was brought before Central Arraignment at Oneida County Correctional Facility, and was released on recognizance.
