According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, a Utica woman was arrested following the report of a domestic incident.

On September 1st, 2025, Road Patrol Deputies took a report of a physical domestic incident.

It was learned that the suspect, K'la Valentine, engaged in a physical altercation with the victim. While the altercation took place, the victim was holding his child. The victim sustained several marks and scratches during the incident. During the investigation, it was learned that there was an active order of protection between the parties, protecting the victim in the case of such incidents. Due to the nature of the case, it was turned over to the Domestic Violence Unit for further investigation.

Ultimately, Valentine was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
