The Sheriff’s Office, including K9 Jensen, along with members of the Syracuse Police, Rome Police & Fire, the NYS Police, and elected officials were honored to join and stand with the family & friends of Syracuse Police Officer Michael E. Jensen at an emotional ceremony today dedicating NYS Route 46 from the City of Rome to the Town of Western in memory of Officer Jensen.

Michael made the ultimate sacrifice on April 14th of 2024 while protecting his community and today’s dedication in his hometown ensures that his legacy will never be forgotten.
