According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica…
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica man was arrested following an incident at the Oneida County Office Building, located at 800 Park Ave. in the City of Utica.
On October 27, 2025, at about 10:19 AM, Paul Vannort II, age 33, of Utica, NY was leaving a waiting room on the first floor of the Oneida County Office Building and as he was walking down a hallway, Paul Vannort II punched a wall with a closed fist which caused a fist size hole in the wall.
Sheriff’s Deputies who are assigned to the Oneida County Office Building immediately took Paul Vannort II into custody.
Paul Vannort II was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and was charged with Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, 145.00 (sub 1) of the Penal Law, a class A misdemeanor. Paul Vannort II was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Utica City Court at a later date and time.
As a result of Paul Vannort II being taken into custody and arrested, Deputies learned that Paul Vannort II was on state parole, parole was then notified and a violation of parole warrant was sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility. Sheriff’s Deputies transported Paul Vannort II to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and Paul Vannort II was turned over to Correctional Officers and is currently being held on a violation of parole warrant.
