According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Village of Sylvan Beach woman was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Village of Sylvan Beach.

On November 14th, 2025, at around 11:30 p.m., Road Patrol Deputies were dispatched to Main St in the Village of Sylvan Beach for a report of a domestic in progress. Subsequent to an investigation, Deputies determined that Joanne Dipietro (Age 70) of Sylvan Beach had damaged property inside of a residence during a domestic dispute.

Dipietro was subsequently charged with: Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.

Dipietro was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and was ultimately held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police.
