According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica woman was arrested on multiple charges after the Oneida County 911 Center dispatched deputies to a report of a Domestic Incident in the Town of Camden.
On January 3, 2026, at about 10:35 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address on Buell Road and found that Dorothy Sherboneau, age 38, had engaged in a physical altercation with a male companion for whom there was an active refrain from order of protection in place.
Sherboneau was taken into custody by Patrol Deputies and transported to the Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Building where she was charged with Harassment in the second degree, a violation, a Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Due to the nature of the incident, the case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Unit where Sherboneau was also charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a Class E Felony.
Sherboneau was held at the Sheriff’s Correctional Facility to await CAP Court. After arraignment, Sherboneau was held on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 Bond. Sherboneau is scheduled to appear in Camden Town Court at a later date.
