According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, the deceased individual that was located inside the 2025 Nissan Rouge following a single vehicle personal injury accident on Bristol Road in the Town of Kirkland was identified as 70-year-old Salvatore Noti. At this time, the investigation is still ongoing, and more information may be released at a later time.

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on January 28th, 2026, around 10:20 AM, Deputies were dispatched to the area of Bristol Road in the Town of Kirkland for a single vehicle personal injury accident.
An investigation revealed the male driver, had been operating his vehicle, a back in color 2025 Nissan Rouge, in a northernly direction on Bristol Road. The investigation further revealed the male driver had begun to lose control of his vehicle while traveling north bound on Bristol Road, almost striking a mailbox on the eastern shoulder of the roadway, before he crossed the roadway into the south bound lane, at which time the male had stuck an earth embankment on the western shoulder of the roadway causing the vehicle to come to rest. Life saving measures were attempted; however, the male was pronounced deceased shortly after first responders arrived.
At this time, the name of deceased will not be released, but will be released at a later time. The circumstances surrounding the accident are still being investigated.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Kovac Ambulance, the Clinton Fire Department, and Clinton Collision.
