Update:

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on February 2, 2026, at approximately 8:39 AM, Deputies responded to Blossvale Road in the Town of Annsville for a reported single motor vehicle accident. It was determined that a white, Dodge Dakota exited the western shoulder of the roadway, striking a utility pole, then overturning and striking a tree. The driver was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained from the accident. Blossvale Road was closed down while National Grid crews worked to put a new utility pole up. As of February 2, 2026, at 5:15PM Blossvale Road in the Town of Annsville has been reopened.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by New York State Police, Taberg Fire Department, Kirks Towing, and National Grid.
