The Mohawk Valley Police Academy Class of 2026-1 graduation…
The Mohawk Valley Police Academy Class of 2026-1 graduation was held this evening at the Stanley Theatre in Utica. The Police Academy is co-administered by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Utica Police Department.
Class 2026-1 included sixteen recruits from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Utica, Rome, Oneida City, Herkimer, and SUNY Upstate Police Departments, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The class endured 6 months of intense classroom and reality training at the Mohawk Valley Police Academy located on the Utica Campus of the Mohawk Valley Community College and 3 months of field training with their respective law enforcement agencies.
