The Sheriff’s Office was honored and excited to attend a Wednesday afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony, along with Utica University faculty & students, local elected officials & dignataries, members of the U.S. Secret Service, NYSP Police, and industry partners to celebrate the opening a new state-of-the-art Utica University Cyber Range.

The Cyber Range will create incredible opportunities that combine advanced college training with problem-solving skills. The students will also collaborate with cybersecurity professionals and local law enforcement agencies to practice responding to security threats and test incident response plans.

This is an incredible opportunity to be able to provide some of the most advanced public safety technology as we do all we can to keep our communities safe.
