According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Town of Augusta man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Village of Oriskany Falls.

On March 29th, 2026, Road Patrol Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Village of Oriskany Falls for a domestic incident. Upon completion of the investigation, the Road Patrol Deputies arrested Derek E. Streeter, age 24, and he was charged with the following;

Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a Class A MisdemeanorHarassment, in the Second Degree, a violation

Streeter was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, was arraigned in CAP court, and was later released on his own recognizance.
