According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on the 26th of March 2026, a Patrol Deputy assigned to the Barneveld Field Office was dispatched by the 911 Center for a dispute located at 120 Church St. in the Village of Boonville. Investigation verified that there was a dispute and an individual received minor lacerations from a sharp object during the dispute. On the 29th of March 2026, Erica Croniser (36) of Boonville was arrested and charged with Assault in the 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a weapon in the 4th degree. Croniser was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Boonville Town Court at a later date. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the New York State Police.
