According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Westmoreland man was arrested following a DWI Investigation on Daily Rd in the Town of Westmoreland. On April 21st, 2026, at about 0136 hours Road Patrol Deputies were dispatched by the 911 Center to the intersection of Bartlett Rd and Daily Rd in the Town of Westmoreland for an MVA-Unknown. Upon arrival to the scene a vehicle was observed to be disabled in the ditch on Daily Rd. Subsequent to an investigation the operator of the vehicle was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated by a Deputy assigned to the STOP DWI Unit. The operator of the vehicle, Martin F. Richlin, age 63, was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, as well as additional NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law misdemeanors and violations.
Richlin was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, where he was ultimately released to be arraigned at Westmoreland Town Court on a later date.
