According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on July 8, 2026, at approximately 12:18pm, members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Waterville Field Office conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist in the Village of Oriskany Falls for violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law pertaining to bicycles.

Following an interview with the operator, identified as Milano L. Grico, of Madison, deputies determined that Grico had participated in a larceny that occurred on July 7, 2026, at Douglas Park in the Village of Oriskany Falls. Deputies subsequently located and recovered the stolen property.

During Grico’s arrest, deputies also discovered a large quantity of suspected cannabis and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine on his person.

Grico was transported to the Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he was charged with:* Petit Larceny* Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree* Unlawful Possession of Cannabis* Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree

Grico was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Augusta Court at a later date.
