According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica woman was arrested following a harassment and criminal trespass investigation at the Oneida County Office Building, located at 800 Park Ave. in the City of Utica.

On July 13, 2026, at about 3:35 PM, Moje Nyree Jackson, age 25, of Utica, was standing next to a secure door in a waiting room and when a County employee opened the secure door, Jackson pushed/shoved the County employee's chest/shoulder area and Jackson gained access to a secure hallway.

On July 21, 2026, Jackson was at the Oneida County Office Building and was taken into custody. Jackson was brought to the Oneida County Courthouse booking room, arrested, and charged with Criminal Trespass in the third degree, 140.10 (sub a), of the New York State Penal Law, a class B misdemeanor and Harassment in the second degree, 240.26 (sub1), of the New York State Penal Law, a Violation. Jackson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Utica City Court at a later date and time and then released.
