According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a physical altercation in the Town of Paris resulted in the arrest of a Utica woman. Just after midnight on August 11, 2026, Patrol deputies responded to a report of a dispute that had just occurred on Church Road in the Village of Clayville. Upon arrival, deputies found that a physical altercation had taken place between a resident at the home and Shauna Wilcox, age 33 of Utica, who had left the scene prior to police arrival. It was reported that during the altercation, Wilcox had subjected the resident to unwanted physical contact as well as subjecting the victim to an electronic stun gun. Due to the severity of the allegations, the case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Unit. During further investigation, Investigators found that Wilcox had in fact struck the victim and used an electronic stun gun during the incident.
